Caitlin Clark Cooks Opponent With Crossover During Lynx vs. Fever WNBA Game

By Grant Young,

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are facing off against the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday.

This is an important game for Indiana, because they haven't played the Lynx (who boast one of the WNBA's best records at 16-7) so far in the 2024 regular season.

Clark struggled for the first three quarters of the game. After the third quarter came to a close, Clark had just 7 points and picked up a technical foul for poking a Lynx opponent in the eye.

The play was deemed a "hostile act" and Clark showed a lot of frustration upon the play being called a technical.

But Clark has since recovered, and caught fire in the fourth quarter.

Clark has already scored six points in the fourth quarter's first three minutes.

She also broke a Lynx opponent's ankles while going for a layup.

Clark was trying to dribble in the paint while being guarded by Lynx player Bridget Carleton.

Caitlin performed a gross crossover and made Carleton's knees buckle, sending Carleton to the ground.

Clark then finished the layup before Lynx coach Sheryl Reeve called a timeout.

The Fever are surging ahead due to Clark's success in this fourth and final quarter.
