Travis Kelce seen 'crying' at Taylor Swift concert in emotional moment

2024-07-07Taylor Swift fans are convinced that the pop star's NFL boyfriend, Travis Kelce , was moved to tears by her performance at an Eras Tour stop in Amsterdam on Saturday.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end made an intercontinental journey to Johan Cruyff Arena and was seen repeatedly wiping his eyes as Swift sang "Everything Has Changed" off her 2012 "Red" album.
"I'm actually never going to be ok after this," a video of Kelce's supposed tears was captioned on Twitter, attracting over 300,000 views. "Big tough NFL man Travis Kelce crying [because] his wife is singing to him." Another Swiftie added: "Travis was crying like a Kelce and I'm gonna lose it."

The viral clip came amid a surprise tribute to Kelce, performing a never-before-heard song on the Eras Tour. Swift sat down at the piano and began a rare niche selection of her world-famous discography: Mary’s Song (Oh My My My) from her self-titled debut 2006 album.
Crucially, this song features the lyrics, "I'll be 87, you'll be 89," which have become reimagined 18 years later following her relationship with Kelce, who wears No. 87 for the Chiefs and was born in 1989. "OK, so you get bonus points if you know the words to this one," Swift said Saturday. "Because it's from my first album and I've never performed it on the Eras Tour."
Swift's gesture became more evident as the 14-time Grammy winner blended "So High School," a song from her recent "Tortured Poets Department" into the aforementioned love song "Everything Has Changed." Her surprise reciprocated a sweet moment from Kelce at Wembley Stadium last month, who unexpectedly appeared on stage and featured in dance routines for several of Swift's songs.
Kelce was seated in VIP accommodations at the Ajax arena, joined by Kansas City teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany. Other notable guests in the suite include Ross Travis and Patrick Bacon, and the trio was recorded swaying and singing to Swift's 2019 single "Lover."
Patrick and Brittany's brief continental cameo came amidst a jam-packed sporting itinerary in the United Kingdom . Attending the Wimbledon tennis tournament in London July 5, the couple took a disappointing result courtside as compatriot Francis Tiafoe lost in five sets to Carlos Alcaraz in the third round.
On Sunday, Mahomes returned to the greater London area for the British Grand Prix, another disheartening outing as the two Alpine drivers — the quarterback co-owns the F1 racing club alongside Kelce and others — finished in 16th and 20th.
With Kelce embracing his NFL offseason and Swift's Eras Tour back underway, the star receiver has seized these rare opportunities to witness his girlfriend's historic performances.
Kelce enjoys two more weeks of freedom before returning for mandatory Chiefs training camp, beginning July 21 and stretching daily through August 15. Swift, meanwhile, wrapped up the tenth stop on her European tour leg, finishing her circuit on August 20 after a five-day finale in London.
