Cherokee County Man Missing Since July 23

2024-07-30The Cherokee Sheriff's Office is asking Atlanta authorities for help finding a Lyft driver who has been missing since July 23.
Leonard John Beiner, 57, from the Acworth area in Cherokee County, was in the Ball Ground area July 18, the CSO reported.
He was working part time as a Lyft driver and scheduled to drive a fare to Jacksonville, Florida, the sheriff's office said in a Facebook post Tuesday.
His family has not been able to reach him and his phone is not accepting calls. He was last believed to be driving a blue Hyundai Santa Fe with an unknown Florida license plate.
He is white, with blue eyes and gray hair. He is five feet, seven inches tall and about 225 pounds, and walks with a cane.
Tuesday afternoon, CSO spokesperson Jay Baker said the agency has determined that Beiner checked into Grady Memorial Hospital July 22 and left July 23.
